Indian Political class - pre Independence and now

Winston Churchill once said "when ever we leave India, It would be ruled by the goons" and looking at present condition of the country and deeds of the political class. The statement is proved true even after 67 years after gaining independence. When an officer halts illegal activity then the ruling class dismisses the officer and dictates to ruling party that if they say anything against the decision then the support of their MP's in Parliament would be taken back. Every person in power rules their people rather then administering efficiently for their upliftment. PreIndependence era was 100 times better wrto law and order, implementation of laws and another merit about British era was that we were much better placed in transport sector in pre independence era, train journey from Ambala cantt to Amritsar took 4 hrs then and it still takes 4 hrs in superfast class of trains....isn't it shameful.

In India a major portion of the votes which are given is often purchased by the candidates(who have deep pockets filled with money which they gulped in their last term). Majority of the people put votes by keeping their castes in mind and making as goon win elections(from their own cast), rather then choosing a candidate with clean image. Some percentage of Indian voters are really really foolish(according to me) as we can clearly see around 30 percent of criminals representing people, These criminals would never ever be convicted because as they say "supremacy of parliament should be maintained" and they are above the law. This bloody notion that Parliament is above all other institutions(even the constitution) is helping in shielding the criminals/corrupt people who have reached there by hook/crook and muscle power.

The whole bloody system is corrupt, people are sleeping, Political class is doing nothing for country as various initiatives which were good for country like "Hum do hamare do" for controlling population is no more advertised and is informally taken back by the government with the sole reason being that if population is controlled and people start studying till the level when they can understand things good for country then they would root out the present political class, So why hit your own feet with axe. When Politicians follow approach of "Divide and Rule" over people rather then unite them together for the country, Looks like the political class have put country up for sale, everything can be purchased here votes, goons, riots, disharmony, and we are thaught that britishers played "Divide and Rule". I still think that if Britain didn't go bankrupt after second world war then they would have administered us for a longer duration and we would have been technologically ahead by atleast ten years as of now.

I still firmly believe this country needs a revolution against corrupt political class, so that we can maintain the rich history we possesed, rather then saying britishers took it all away, whereas actually it's the political class which is taking it all away from the country and selling the country to foreign hands. I somwtimes wonder about why in USA the party which wins the election and forms government is termed as 'Administration' whereas in India we are 'ruled' by the politicians which we elect. God save this country because if some offcial wants to do right he/she is transferred/suspended (for example Ashok Khemka and Durga nagpal), there would be many others which the media class is not paid for to highlight.

GOD SAVE THIS COUNTRY from going to the gallows!! JAI HIND!!

Make Payments involving Government electronic to curb corruption

Writing a post after a long long time, but was so preoccupied this whole time. Well anyways I am back and this post is regarding -making all government payments electronically, whether the payment is to be made by the government or to the government. It should all be done electronically. Making Payments in which government offices are involved electronically or using cash cards is very important for putting an end to corruption in India, which is corrupt from the root to the highest branch(if we consider India as a tree). There are many advantages of electronic payments over cash payments such as it is much convienient, goes through a bank so no question of black money because Income tax guys have direct eye on high value transactions made electronically. The only disadvantage for the ministers and government officers is that their personal pockets are not filled ie they cant take bribe. To compliment electronic transactions, there should be a premium value(in percentage) in case one has to use cash. This system which I am talking about is not new and is already implemented in many countries, I would give a self example.
During my visit to london in 2010, I went to CarphoneWarehouse showroom for purchasing a mobile phone, It costed 40 pounds and 10 pounds mandatory topup. When I asked for how much I have to pay in cash, the lady told 60 pounds, I argued that in your website You have mentioned 50 pounds which includes topup, she replied if you are paying using a card then you have to pay 50 pounds total else in cash the deal is of 60 pounds. So such scenario will automatically encourage payments electronically rather then conventional methods of payment.
Talking of above case in Indian scenario for payments involving government, suppose government has thrown a tender for some infra project and waits for the minimum bid, Now presently we all know the whole tender process of center and state governments involve lot of bribes to the ministry involved for selection of tender, If whole payment has to be made electronically then one thing is for sure that money involved would be white as no-one can forge bills with wrong values(as it is done presently). This way of electronic payments should then be gradually adopted by non-governemnt institutes, But the most important thing for its implementation is that MP's have to pass a bill making it a law. This condition is most difficult to happen as ministers doesnot want an end to hard cash method of payment. If present corrupt Government of India adopts this method then there would be drastic decrease in black money revolving along with the white economy. Recently UID chairmen Nilekani also proposed thet all payments above 100 Rs should be made electronically. I may have missed certain scenarios in which such method might not be as effective as cash, you can always add that in comment section.
The other obstruction in this appraoch is present thinking of people which give a sort of meagre discounts on cash payments whereas ideally it should be vice-versa. Property prices all over the world are tasting dust but in india there is no decrease in property prices because whole real estate sector thrive on black money. Another advantage of electronic payment methods is that there would be tremendous increase in direct and indirect tax collection of the government as presently there is no tax collection from transactions involving black money.

The reason for rise of Private companies

I always wondered that post economic reforms, there has been great rise in revenues of private indian companies rather then Government companies which ruled before liberalisation of economy in 1991-92.

So what went wrong with Government companies??

There are lot of reasons for decreasing revenues of government companies ranging from vote-banks, politicians investments in private companies and job reservations for vooing votebank in favour. I would try to explain how these are the reasons for decrease in revenues of government companies with examples, however your views about the same are most welcome.

Since Politicians have lot of non-accountable money or what is known as black money they found it a good method and oppurtunity to invest in private companies via their relatives, companies on name of their servants, through Dubai route etc into the private companies which came up during post liberalization era. One example is former NCP leader and aviation minister who has stake in Indigo airlines and we all know what these corrupt politicians did to indian flagship carrier Air India (you can read my post titled Murder of Air India). Removing Air india from profitable routes was one decision taken by politicians for killing Air india.

The second main reason for degradation of Government companies is reservation. Reservation is the biggest plague which hinders government owned companies and until reservation is not stopped and candidates for jobs are elected on merit basis, we cant expect revenue to increase. There is a reason for this too. A person who is not capable at all (not because he doesn't have brain, but because he doesnot do any hard work because he knows that he has reservation and would surely get the job in government company and he stops working at all after getting job) This is the major reason according to me due to which BSNL is in loss while all the other telecom companies who doesnot have any reservations are making huge profits.

I came across one funny thing about exam setting in 2015:

New Exam Pattern in...INDIA (2015) 1) General student : Answer all Questions. It's compulsory. 2) OBC student: Answer ANY 5 out of 10 Questions. 3) SC : ONLY READ the questions. 4) ST : Thanks for coming to the Exam Hall.

It looks real hilarious isn't it?

Since Private companies doesnot have any reservations in jobs and elect a person on pure merit hence revenues are increasing many folds. We should be thankful to indian IT companies, private companies who respect people with merit and simply rejected government's demand of reservation in private sector. These private companies are today showing intellect power of general category and people who are capable of working hard and innovative in every aspect. Hence now government employees can never match with the high efficiency of general category and people who get job by merit and not by reservation.

Kapil Sibal - The biggest Idiot Indian Politician

Kapil Sibal represents a true from heart corrupt politician, who doesnot care about the people who elected him by casting vote. It is quite visible by his comments about Anna hazare's poll conducted in Kapil Sibal's constituency that he is not speaking his people voice but is trying to continue with his corrupt activities and pointing a finger at honest Indian like Anna ji.

The idiot keeps on saying that result of Anna's poll is from BJP activitists WHAT THE F***.
Since he is not listening or speaking people voice and is loving his chair more then honesty and other idealistic manners. Hence it is high time that such politicians should be assasinated or should be hanged by mob at Chandni chowk when he goes there asking for votes next time.

I strongly feel something like which happened in movie "Rang de Basanti" should happen and these corrupt politicians should be killed because they are not allowing to live honest Indians peacefully without fear.

Solution: People of India should make a "corruption liberation army" full of volunteers and kill the bast**** politicians who are against civil society Lokpal version of bill. Something on lines of "Indian liberation army" formed by Bose against britishers.

WHAT DO YOU SAY GUYS??

WAIT FOR MY NEXT POST : "POLITICIANS ! The enemy within."

LONG LIVE INDEPENDENCE!

RTI act - will it work in land of Goons?

RTI act or Right to Information act for every public undertaking was passed by Congress government to bring transparency in government works which would mean less corruption and the guilty would be given some sort of punishment at a faster pace(not because the legal system would act fast but because the concerned person's corruption act is known early...) however in the time span when this law was passed and today, It has only led to deaths of the RTI activists only, I know that corruption is in blood of every Indian(only the intensity differs). but killing RTI activist just to save image is inhuman, My post on how corruption is in blood of politician can be read by clicking here.

Every day there is some news about killing of RTI activist especially in states where there is more, probably it can only work in bollywood movies like 'well done Abba' where the RTI act was used to bring corruption in public. Now according to me the thing is as soon as an activist come out with a shocking act of corruption through RTI, One copy should be printed in next day's every daily newspaper so that if the Goons(concerned politician) is able to kill that activist the case would become even stronger because media is the one thing which Government takes a bit serious than even the RTI act.

The law for protection about whistleblowers is looking very inaffective still as this is a thing which is against the politicians.

But looking at scenario and Manmohan Singh's, Rahul Gandhi's initiative i feel so that corruption would definitely lesson in coming years but then I feel that if another news about killing of RTI activist comes will surely kick my feeling away.

The basics of Indian Politics - how corruption starts from base

I was thinking from long time to post this but was not getting time for the same, finally I managed to spare some time to tell about the basic functionality model of Indian politics and why it is often referred as politics led by goons. I request to please post your views about the same in the comment section.

It is true that most of the Indian politician are goons who win election by distributing money among the poor people, and the politicians are most after the poor people who can be purchased by distributing a couple of whiskey bottles or by few thousand rupees, which comes down to few hundred rupees in case of Bihar.

I was wondering how can so much dirt get into system that too at every level. well I got answer in few days and here is what I concluded.

Most of the poor people or low income group people(bus drivers, Auto drivers, sweepers ) to list a few are the ones who are very fond of politics not because they like it but to earn money, A person who has no work, no job to earn money is type of hired by the local politician at not much wages but given a commitment that if he/she wins in smallest level election then there would be lots of money around and the person (having no money presently) says a yes and becomes a chela of that to be politician. Now the task is how to earn votes in coming general body election or any other election, Since they have not done anything good for the people but still want to win, they start corrupt practices like giving warnings to people to cast them or face the music(taking advantage of weak police system), In India Police can be termed as goons hired by politicians legally to take money from the literate(well settled individuals). but in case of poor people they dont give such warnings(because they will get nothing in case they even kill the person for not casting the vote to them) So they purchase their votes by paying a meagre amount while also maintaining some sort of ledger of the money spent on whole election campaign. Since they start from smaller area hence people to purchase is very less hence the budget is fixed too. Once they win the election by giving money, bribing police, they feel very happy and first take out the money out from government funds(which is indirectly the taxes collected from the well settled people).

They charge compound interest for their money and fill their stomachs and houses as this stolen money would now become input for purchasing votes for the next level of elections(which covers larger geographical area), The person who helped initially now becomes a legal goon which is used for killing a competitor and the police is used by same politician to show it as either a suicide or road accident(I have not heard of any third type of killing strategy used by the politicians in India for killing of their competitors).

Now when he follows the same strategy and wins the elections again then he becomes the god of the area, which gives him power to do all the illegal activities, drugs, call girls mafias, murders, licenses to builders etc. From all these activities the percentage of now minister's share reaches at end of the day or weekly or monthly(depends on how the politician wants that money) and this is all hard cash. Local police helps in watching that all the illegal activities are going on nicely and they are getting their share at time.

The things shown in movie Rajneeti are very true(however it depicted only the killing of competitors part, I discussed earlier). Now since the whole nexus created by the politician of that area is functioning smoothly he makes a lot of money.

The tragedy here for medium income group or middle class people is that their vote has no effect as the number of poor people surpasses them and would always be the same in future too. but the money which goes into politicians pocket is the one from their taxes :(

Hence no politician ever talks about providing jobs to the people as in that case their own job would end because they know the truth about their doings and no person would ever want that his/her source of income should stop.

So this was my try to depict the working of indian pilitics and indian politicians(in which the middle income group has no effect)

PLEASE GIVE YOUR COMMENTS ABOUT WHAT TO FEEL ABOUT THIS
